GA18 is a a rugged, maintainable aircraft that has Ability to operate from semi-prepared airfields. Mahindra also plans a military variant which when fitted with radar can be used for surveillance and also for para military and transport operations . Civilian variant can be used for economic short-range, low traffic operations or for adventure sports like sky driving or freight operations . Mahindra plans to manufacture smaller aircrafts from its Bangalore facility in next two years and also supply crucial parts to its current aircrafts manufactured in its Australian plant .
